Creative through regulated review
Agency of record program lead for Genentech. I ran creative through medical, legal, and regulatory review and approval, against launch dates that could not move.
- Client
- Genentech
- Scope
- 3 drug launches
- Programs
- Drug launches, focus groups, in-person training
- Review
- Medical, legal, and regulatory
Context
Pharmaceutical launch work runs on a fixed date and a fixed review process. Every piece of creative passes medical, legal, and regulatory review, revisions loop back through the same reviewers, and the launch date does not move for any of it.
What I ran
I managed creative development, review routing, approvals, delivery, and in-market analysis across three launches. That meant scheduling backward from the launch date through the review cycles the work would take, not the number anyone hoped for.
I coordinated focus groups and in-person training alongside the launch creative.
Result
- Launch materials cleared review and shipped on date.
This is where I learned to schedule around a review process rather than through it. Any creative operation with a heavy approval path needs the same discipline.
